Membership

Membership is open to all with an interest in birds and natural history. If you are not a member, we hope you will join. Subscriptions are due on 1st January and can be paid by cheque (made payable to the Argyll Bird Club) or standing order. New members joining after 1st October are covered until the end of the following year.

Your annual subscription entitles you to one copy of the Argyll Bird Report, four issues of The Eider and free admission to two full-day indoor meetings.

The membership categories and rates are:

  • Ordinary: £10
  • Junior (under 17): £3
  • Family: £15
  • Corporate £25

Those wishing to join the Argyll Bird Club should fill in an application form (which includes a standing order form if you prefer to pay this way) and sent it to the Membership Secretary with the appropriate subscription. The Membership Secretary is willing to answer any questions and provide further information.

If you are a member of the Argyll Bird Club and pay tax, completing a Gift Aid Declaration form and returning it to the Treasurer (Bob Furness) allows the club to claim back 28p in every pound for each subscription received, every year.
