ISLAY: A CACKLING GOOSE (different from the bird in Gruinart area) seen at Cornabus – presumably a reurning bird from 2025 (Ed Burrell). An adult RUSSIAN WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE was at Killinallan, Gruinart today.

ISLAY: Three RUSSIAN WHITE-FRONTED GEESE at Gleannagaoidh, The Rhinns (David Jardine). RED-BREASTED GOOSE still in the Gruinart area and CACKLING GOOSE seen again – now at Starchmill (Steve Percival). Drake GREEN-WINGED TEAL was seen again at RSPB Loch Gruinart (Richard Grimmett).

ISLAY: Still three RING-NECKED DUCK at Loch na Cadhan (pr + 2cy female).
11th February
KINTYRE: Four RING-NECKED DUCK today at Tangy Loch (2 males & 2 females) with the males displaying (Angus Murray). A LITTLE EGRET at side of road (A83) half a mile NW of Campbeltown (Brian Allan).
ISLAY: The long staying RING-NECKED DUCKS (ad male & fem with 2cy fem) from Loch Ballygrant noted again today nearby on Loch Lossit (Nick Parsons).
MID-ARGYLL: The CACKLING GOOSE again today at Dunadd (Brian Allan).

KINTYRE: The ROSS’S GOOSE seen today was now near Kilkivan Farm, The Laggan (Angus Murray).

MID-ARGYLL: The 1w SPOTTED REDSHANK still at Loch Gilp and the CACKLING GOOSE is still at Dunaad today (Jim Dickson).
