COWAL: Andrew McFarlane sent in these Nuthatch photos taken at Benmore Gardens today – which reminds us to ask anyone who has records of this species to send them in and also to be on the look out and listen for them in the coming weeks when they become more territorial. KINTYRE: A report of a Scandinavian Rock Pipit today from Machrihanish SBO (Eddie Maguire). Also another MARSH HARRIER report from the Moss Road north junction area today – this time a male bird (Kevin Hamilton).

KINTYRE: A female/juv male type MARSH HARRIER around 08.30 today at Bleachfield (nr Machrihanish airfield) seen by Kevin Hamilton.

ISLAY: A LAPLAND BUNTING reported at Coullabus in a field with Skylarks today (Dave & Jean Killick).

MID-ARGYLL: A sub-adult male MARSH HARRIER has been frequenting Ardmaddy and across to Seil Island since 3rd March (per Jan Wolfe et al).

KINTYRE: A juvenile GLAUCOUS GULL today from the A83 junction with road to Machrihanish airport – nr Kilkenzie (Neil Hammatt). Also an ICELAND GULL (age?) reported via e-birder opposite the Oyster Bar, Loch Fyne Mid-Argyll.

MID-ARGYLL: The adult male PIED-BILLED GREBE is back (did it leave?) at Loch Feorlin – seen this am by David Jardine.
