The next Indoor Meeting of the Bird Club will be on Saturday 5th November 2011 in the Cairnbaan Hotel.

The Indoor Meetings start around 0930 and finish around 1600, with a series of short talks on a wide variety of topics of interest.

The draft programme for this meeting will be posted as soon as it is available.

We hope to see you at the meeting!

Spring Indoor Meeting

The Spring Indoor Meeting will probably be held on Saturday 17 March 2012. At the moment this meeting is being arranged, and is likely to be a joint meeting with the British Trust for Ornithology (BTO) and the Scottish Ornithologists’ Club (SOC), to be held in Oban. Further details will be posted when available.

Saturday 21 May. Skipness. Organiser Katie Pendreigh (contact details KatiePendreighataoldotcom or 01583 441359). Meet at Skipness Castle car park at 10.00. Bring a packed lunch.
Saturday 26 June. Machrihanish or Sanda Island. Organiser Nigel Scriven (contact details nscrivenataoldotcom or 01369 840606).
Saturday 27 August. Ferry from Kennacraig to Islay and back (seawatching). Organiser Mike Harrison (contact details jmharrisonatieedotorg or 01631 710656). Meet at Kennacraig ferry terminal at 12.00 in time to board the 13.00 sailing.
Saturday 24 September. Loch Gilp and Add Estuary. Meet at Corran Bridge parking area at 10.00 for birding at Loch Gilp first, and then on the Add Estuary for the rising tide in the afternoon.
